Garden Ponds for Everyone

There is a type of Water Feature that will work for any Situation
We at www.pondmarket.com are often presented with the wish of owning a waterfeature of some sort but obstacles that customers do not know how to overcome. I will list some of the different scenarios and their solutions here:
Small children/pets might drown:
Build a "pondless" waterfall! This water feature consists of a gravel filled pit that contains the water and the waterfall pump, the waterfall is build adjacent/on top of it. There is no "pond" to drown in...the water seems to disappear into the ground. It is a very cool effect!
My yard is full of tree roots, I cannot possibly dig a hole for a garden pond:
Build UP! Use a pre-formed hard shell pond form and support the sides with dirt in which flowers can be planted to soften the pond edges. No digging required.
I don't have time to take care of a Garden Pond:
Make it a Water Garden instead! Forget the fish....just fill it with lots of the wonderful aquatic plants available (the most well known are Water Lilies and Lotus). Throw in some mosquito dunks and VOILA!...you are done!
We live in an area with water use restrictions:
Garden Ponds use less water than is required to keep a lawn alive! Remember: Pond Plants do not need to be watered, either...and there is no grass to cut!
My yard has a lot of trees and is completely shaded:
That can work to your advantage since algae needs sunlight to grown. Just use pond plants and bog plants that look beautiful in shade such as different grasses and aquatic plants with variegated leaves.
My garden is in full sun and algae would grow like wild fire:
Install an Ultra Violet Clarifier to take care of that problem from the very beginning!
This is just a sample of possible scenarios and there solutions. Do you have an obstacle to building a garden pond that you need help to solve? Visit us at www.pondmarket.com and send us your question!
